FOTD & Review Too Faced Amazing Face Oil-Free Close-Up Coverage Foundation

Happy October everyone! It's been a good month for me so far =). I got hired by Sephora yesterday yayy! After my interview I went to a different Sephora & went browsing around. I wanted to try out a new foundation. Already tried NARS, MUFE HD, Smashbox, & Tarte. Too Faced was the only one I haven't tried & this foundation is new to their line. I got a sample of Too Faced Amazing Face Oil-Free Close-Up Coverage Foundation in Warm Honey. I told the SA I am shade #128 in MUFE HD but slightly lighter right now. She swatched MUFE HD 128 and went over to swatch TF in shade Warm Honey & Honey Beige. Honey Beige was more on the neutral side but very close to MUFE HD 128. Warm Honey had more yellow in it.. I should've gotten a sample of Honey Beige though.

Coverage: Light to medium coverage.
Finish:Dewy & Natural.
Consistency: Very similar to NARS Sheer Glow but doesn't dry up fast.

Pros:
-Natural looking
-Weightless and not cakey at all
-If you don't have ANY acne scars or acne, you'd be able to pull this off

Cons:
-Bulky bottle no pump
- Feels oily when applied.
- Wears off after 6-7 hours for me.

It goes on oily, the dewy finish makes my scars stand out even more. Very light coverage, I want a medium-full coverage. It's buildable, but you would have to apply like a few coats to get that full coverage. I even applied extra concealer after using the foundation. It was too oily for me & I don't even have oily skin, it's super dry! I finally set it with Ben Nye's Banana Visage powder & whoaa, big difference. Didn't look oily anymore. Still had a natural finish.

Throughout the day I had to blot twice & noticed it started to wear off. Then again, I NEED full coverage.

I like the natural look & would use this if I had clear skin, just not for me right now.

As you can see, it's pretty light enough that you can still see the freckle on my nose.

Doubt that I can pull off this foundation; I have post breakout scars on my jawline right now. :( It looks really good on you though!
And YES, Angelika is a glitter bomb but I love the color too much! I usually tap my brush before applying, that way there's not as many glitters get onto my face.
