FOTD & Product rave on MAC Careblend Powder

Hello guys! I so suck at posting. I am still trying out new stuff & don't want to blog about it without giving it a 100% try first. There's things I've tried that I hated at first & ended up loving. Well I've also been miaing on here because my skin has been at it's WORST! I haven't broken out this bad since middle school. I'm not sure if it's hormonal or from switching up foundation primers.I usually get lil pimples on my chin from pmsing or sometimes on my cheeks from just simply touching my face. I NEVER breakout on my forehead, so I have no idea what the heck broke my forehead out. I had a zit on top of another.Getting grossed out thinking about it.

Anyways, sorry about the breakout rant. I do want to share with you guys that I've officially fallen in love and SO sure that this is my HG setting powder.

MAC Careblend Powder in Medium Plus

I had no idea that MAC came out with this until I read Jo's tweets and saw on her post about it. Hehe I swear she's really good with her recs guys! Definitely my go to person everytime I'm being indecisive about something.

I don't like MSF Natural at ALL. It comes blotchy on me & I prefer a more coverage. Breaks me out on my cheeks as well. Blot powder is TOO ashy. My Too Faced Invisible Powder is starting to look ghostlike on me since I'm getting darker. & I definitely don't wanna make it a hassle to find the right shade for me from drugstore brands.

I finally went into MAC to check out Careblend. I got matched to Med Plus. I swatched it on my hands, & I fell in love with it.

SOO smooth and easy to blend. Sinks into my skin too.  Matte velvety finish. Looks absolutely FLAWLESS. I think this would work well with oily skin, although I have dry skin. I like that it's matte but doesn't make my face look too drying or flaky. So two thumbs up to that ! Does NOT oxidize on me at all unlike Studio Fix *that is for a lil more coverage anyways*

No cakeness at all too. Looks even better with a setting spray. I'm pretty impressed by this. I also think it'd be cool if they had a LOOSE version of this..I would definitely get it to set my concealer or something.

For the eyes, I know Im always sticking to neutrals or browns. I really don't know how to do eyeshadow or work with my eye shape. I was inspired by Sunnysideup1110 "Bronze Summer Makeup" look. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4MlafdYKos
